A three way blend of indigenous Portuguese grape varieties grown in the Ribatejo region, this is refreshing and distinctive red with a kind of sweet and sour balance of fruit and savoury flavours.
Tasting Notes : Fresh and tangy with aromas of cranberries and yellow plums. In the mouth it is medium to light bodied with good palate cleansing acidity and flavours of cherry, pomegranate and tomato.
Producer : Quinta da Alorna
Method of Production : The grapes were destemmed, crushed and fermented in temperature controlled stainless steel tanks, after which the wine was pressed from the skins and aged in American oak barrels for four months. The wine was then fined, filtered and bottled.
